HamApparel.com began several years ago, when Kayla, a daughter of a ham radio enthusiast decided that her dad, Jay [KT5E] shouldn’t be seen in his raggy radio vendor shirts and hats and that he needed some cooler ham radio apparel. As a Christmas gift, she gave him the very first Few Understand shirt which reads “radio” in morse code below. But you already knew that, right?

The Few Understand t-shirt was sold on Cafe Press for several years and became very popular. But Kayla and her husband, Clint decided it was time to think a little bigger. Kayla, being a graphic designer, designed several additional ham radio designs to be used on t-shirts and later mugs, hats and other apparel. Each design is unique and speaks to the ham radio enthusiasts.

HamApparel.com is based in Texas and premiered their first line of apparel at Dayton Hamvention 2010. Clint and Kayla plan to continue to add new products regularly and provide totally awesome apparel for all ham radio hobbyists.
